Upon the success of its web-based Traffic Count Database System (TCDS), the Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments (TMACOG) in Ohio has procured the GIS module to enhance its TCDS with spatial query and analysis capabilities. The module uses Google Maps, which saves the agency from the burden of maintaining a current and comprehensive GIS dataset.

Northeast Michigan Council of Governments (NEMCOG) has selected MS2 to develop and host a regional economic development website. The GIS-based website will be accessible to the public for providing a comprehensive resource for business and industry wishing to locate in northeastern Michigan.

DuPage County, Illinois, announced the going-live of a web-based Traffic Accident Database developed by MS2. "By having this system in place, we can work to ensure our streets remain safe for motorists and that unnecessary accidents are avoided." said Pam Rion, Chairwoman of the County Transportation Committee. Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission (SPC) has selected MS2 to implement and host a web-based Traffic Count Database System (TCDS). The system, integrated with Google Maps, will be used to manage the region's traffic count data and support its HPMS data collection. SPC is the MPO for the metropolitan Pittsburgh area with a population of 2.66 millions.

Two more MPOs have purchased our TCDS with GIS features. The City of Las Cruces MPO is located in New Mexico. The Genesee County Metropolitan Planning Commission (GCMPC) in Michigan acquired 7 licenses for its stakeholder agencies.

MS2 welcomes two new staff members with extensive experience in transportation and software engineering. Steve Willaert, an MBA from the University of Michigan, joins the firm as a senior software engineer. Mike Cool, PE, also a graduate of the University of Michigan, is a traffic engineer.

After a rigorous RFP process, Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG), Arizona has selected MS2 to implement and host a web-based Traffic Count Database System (TCDS). The system, integrated with Google Maps and ArcIMS, will be used to manage traffic volume and turning movement count data for the metropolitan Phoenix area with a population of about 4 millions.

A long time user of our web-based Transportation Management System, SEMCOG the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments is adding another module - Traffic Signal Management System (TSMS) to manage its 5,400+ traffic signals in the region. The GoogleMap-based system will be used to manage data such as spatial location, signal hardware, timing plans, turning movement counts, approach photos, traffic control orders, etc.

Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) has selected our web-based Traffic Count Database System (TCDS). The GIS-based system will allow ADOT to efficiently manage and share traffic count data statewide.

After successfully implementing the Traffic Count Database System for Lee County of Florida, MS2 is working on migrating massive amount of historic count data into the system. There are more than 76,000 data files generated by permanent and periodic count stations from 2002-2006.
